The launch of my blog coincides with the release of a craft DVD titled ART UNSCRIPTED. I am quite excited about both events. On my blog, I’ll cover classes, items of interest to book artists and paper crafters, art, crafts, sculpture and occasional postings about blogs, websites, people and other miscellaneous topics.

ART UNSCRIPTED is a PageSage craft DVD hosted by Carol Duvall, The Queen of Crafting and host of THE CAROL DUVALL SHOW, the longest running show in HGTV history. The DVD features seven artists - Judy Belcher (polymer clay), Sarah Hodsdon (carved stamps), MaryJo McGraw (mixed media), Magdalena Muldoon (embossed metal), Karen Elaine Thomas paper crafts), Judi Watanabe (stamped charms), and yours truly Michael Jacobs (paper sculpture). We all gathered in Pacifica, California, for a private artists’ retreat, and participated as both teachers and students. While each of us made an on-camera project, the others made the project, too, and created a very exciting body of work with amazing variations and personal intrepretations.
